NEW YORK CITY – It's time for New York's bowl game yet again. Monday afternoon the Duke football team landed in the Big Apple to begin 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl preparations. It is the first time in program history the Blue Devils have played in four consecutive bowl games.
Duke departed from campus around 12:30 p.m. to head to Raleigh-Durham International Airport for its charter flight to New York City. Upon arriving in NYC around 4 p.m., the Blue Devils went to their hotel for the week – the Sheraton New York Times Square.
Once at the hotel, the squad was greeted by the New Era Pinstripe Bowl's Executive Director Mark Holtzman and Director Emily Hamel.
The Blue Devil Network had exclusive access to all the day's adventures and spoke to senior defensive tackle Carlos Wray about the trip to New York, the welcoming and what they're most looking forward to this week.
