DURHAM, N.C. – Duke volleyball freshman middle blocker Leah Meyer made an immediate impact during her first season with the Blue Devils.
Meyer was named ACC Freshman of the Week three times in 2015. She was one of three ACC rookies to collect the accolade three or more times this past season, joining Virginia's Anna Walk and Louisville's Aniah Philo.
Amongst the Blue Devils, Meyer led the team in hitting percentage (.299), total blocks (114) and blocks per set (1.05).
The Clarence, N.Y., native totaled 14 matches with double-digit kills, including a career-high 17 on two occasions. She topped 10 kills in six of Duke's final eight matches and hit over .300 15 times on the season.
Additionally, Meyer amassed 4.0 or more blocks in 15 matches, including a string of five straight to close out the year.
