Swimming & Diving Earns Scholar All-America Honors

DURHAM, N.C. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released Tuesday the 2014 Fall Scholar All-America Teams, with the Duke men and women both receiving the honor for the fall semester.
The Blue Devil men posted a collective grade point average of 3.17 in the fall to rank 36th out of 65 Division I men's teams. The women's grade point average of 3.19 made them one of 143 Division I women's programs recognized.
In addition, Duke was one of six ACC institutions to have both the men's and women's earn the academic accolade.
The Fall Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams, who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester/quarter.
