Ka'lia Johnson and
Elizabeth Williams.
Today we will be highlighting
Elizabeth Williams, who hails from Virginia Beach, Va. Williams became the first four-time Associated Press All-America in Duke school history this season. She also earned WBCA National Defensive Player of the Year and WBCA All-America honors along with numerous other accolades. She averaged 14.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest, tallied a career-best 10 double-doubles and her 2.5 assists per game led all centers nationally. Williams was drafted last week by the Connecticut Sun with the No. 4 overall selection.
Duke held its annual celebration on Monday, April 13 at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.
