DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke women's tennis team welcomes one of the top recruiting classes in the country as three incoming players are set to join the team for the 2015-16 campaign.

Jessica Ho

Prior to Duke: Jessica Ho will join Duke as one of the top-ranked singles players in the country, appearing among the top-15 recruits on tennisrecruiting.net's list. Ho has played deep into numerous Junior Circuit and Professional Circuit tournaments. In July of last year, Ho reached the final round of the Biesterbos Open. Ho also saw action in the championship match of a tournament held in Daytona Beach in 2012.
Ho provides experience and success on the doubles courts as well, winning the 2014 Eddie Herr ITF while teamed with Sofia Kenin. Earlier in the year, Ho partnered with Anna Blinkova to earn the doubles title at the 2014 Copa Gatorade tournament. On the Professional Circuit, Ho played alongside Chanel Simmonds to reach the final round of the $10,000 El Kantaoui in March 2015.
What do you enjoy most about playing tennis?
Jessica Ho: I love working towards a goal and most of all, achieving it after all the struggles.
What is your greatest memory from playing tennis?
JH: My greatest memory of playing tennis is coming back from being down in the third set and match points to come back and win. There were quite a few, but they all stick with me.
What are you most looking forward to when you arrive on campus at Duke?
JH: I am most looking forward to starting the college life and experiencing all that is there to offer. I am also looking forward to the academics, the sports and the whole Duke spirit.
Who has had the greatest influence on your game?
JH: The person who has had the greatest influence on my game is Alex Golub.
What is something interesting about you that people may not know?
JH: I actually am a good musician, and I love art.
