Boosted by the return of redshirt senior
Braxton Deaver, who was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, Duke's tight end group is filled with experience. Deaver started all 14 games in 2013, catching 46 balls for 600 yards and four touchdowns before missing all of 2014 with an injury. He was a third team All-ACC choice by both the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association and the league's head coaches in 2013. In Deaver's absence last season, redshirt senior
David Reeves started all 13 games, making 13 receptions for 103 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
Redshirt junior
Erich Schneider and sophomore
Davis Koppenhaver are both back in the fold after combining for seven catches for 24 yards and a touchdown in the 2014 campaign. Redshirt junior
Dan Beilinson could also be part of the rotation this fall after missing 2014 due to injury.
