Boutier, Carta Finish Strong in Austria

STYRIA, Austria – Duke golfers Celine Boutier and Virginia Elena Carta finished strong Saturday at the European Ladies' Amateur Championship at the Golf Club of Murhof as the Blue Devil duo both posted top 15 finishes through 72 holes of action.
Boutier, who hails from Montrouge, France, totaled rounds of 69, 71, 70 and 72 on her way to finishing tied 11th overall. She netted a 72-hole ledger of 282 to finish at six-under-par. Carta, a native of Udine, Italy, held a five-under-par, 283, over the four days of play with rounds of 68, 75, 69 and 71.
Taking home the tournament crown was Maria Parra Luque with a 15-under-par, 273.
