DURHAM, N.C. – The Blue Devils kicked off the ACC season with an 81-64 win over Boston College on the road on Jan. 2, thanks in part to a game-high 25-point effort by freshman Brandon Ingram.
In this week's feature, head coach Mike Krzyzewski discusses the importance of the team's ability to get to the free throw line against Boston College during Duke's conference-opening win, as well as the impact Ingram has had on the team this year. Associate head coach Jeff Capel joins the conversation and reflects on Ingram's role on this year's team. Capel also makes comparisons to other impressive freshmen in Duke's history. Ingram talks about how he has developed during his freshman season in Durham.
