Football Team Honored for Pinstripe Bowl Victory

DURHAM, N.C. -- Coming off one of the most exciting bowl games in 2015, the Blue Devil football team celebrated its New Era Pinstripe Bowl championship with the Duke University student body Saturday during halftime of the school's men's basketball game.
Blue Devil Network was on hand for the entire reception as representatives from the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, including executive director Mark Holtzman, joined head coach David Cutcliffe for the recognition on Coach K Court.
The majority of the 2015 squad was in attendance and watched the Blue Devil basketball game against Notre Dame before walking on the court for the halftime celebration.
Behind the performances of co-MVPs Thomas Sirk and Shaun Wilson, Duke defeated Indiana, 44-41 in overtime, at Yankee Stadium on December 26 to cap an 8-5 season.
The Blue Devil Network also caught up with Holtzman to discuss Duke's participation in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Check out the full interview below.
