Remembering Former Head Coach Bill Foster

DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke men's basketball coach Bill Foster passed away Jan. 7, 2016, at the age of 86. From 1975 to 1980, Foster guided Duke to three straight NCAA Tournaments, two ACC championships and an appearance in the Final Four.
In today's feature, former Blue Devil, ACC Rookie of the Year and current television analyst Mike Gminski shares his experience of competing for Foster, while current head coach Mike Krzyzewski talks about how Foster laid the foundation for Duke basketball today.
The full episode of Inside Basketball with Duke's Coach K airs every Sunday at 12 noon on ABC-11 WTVD in the Triangle area and across the southeast every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on Fox Sports South.
The weekly 30-minute program is produced by the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network.
