DURHAM, N.C. – Members of the Duke football program frequently refer to each other as brothers. Many Blue Devils believe it's a love for one another that sets Duke apart from other universities. For two on this year's squad, the brotherhood is genuine as senior safety
Deondre Singleton is joined by his younger brother, freshman safety
Dylan Singleton.
David Cutcliffe's Duke Football TV Show sat down with both Singletons and covered their time playing together in high school, what it means to have this year together at Duke and their goals for each other. Deondre touched on his message to Dylan during recruiting and Dylan discussed his decision making process. Cutcliffe spoke about the recruiting process of Dylan, what brought both of the brothers from Dacula, Ga., to Durham and how they stand next to each other on kickoff coverage for the Blue Devils this season.
Deondre is a four-year starter while Dylan has played in all seven games this season.
Duke (3-4, 0-3 ACC) is open this Saturday before traveling to Georgia Tech (4-3, 1-3 ACC) October 29 for a 12 noon kickoff on RSN.
