DURHAM, N.C. – A multitude of former Duke point guards have gone on to run their own teams as head coaches, using the knowledge and experience gleaned during their time as a Blue Devil to mold teams of their own.
Head coach
Mike Krzyzewski talks about how former point guards often transition into head coaching positions because of the role a point guard plays on the court. Tommy Amaker, the head coach at Harvard, talks about the learning process of a point guard and how these skills translate to a head coaching position.
