Duke's Rich History of Point Guards

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke has had a storied history of point guards over the years, helping guide the program to five national titles.
In today's feature, former Blue Devil and current Marquette head basketball coach Steve Wojciechowski talks about the catalyst the point guard position has provided for Duke over the years. Bobby Hurley, former Duke point guard and current Arizona State head coach, joins the conversation, sharing his thoughts on the responsibility of the point guard position in successfully running the team. Head coach Mike Krzyzewski reflects on the importance of an individual who can make decision and react while competing on the court. Harvard head coach Tommy Amaker and Blue Devil from 1984-87, considered one of the top point guards in Duke history, recalls the significant attributes that make an individual successful in Duke's system.
The full episode of Inside Basketball with Duke's Coach K airs every Sunday at 12 noon on ABC-11 WTVD in the Triangle area and across the southeast every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on Fox Sports South.
