DURHAM, N.C. – Blue Devil incoming freshman 
Leaonna Odom has been selected one of 24 players to play in the Jordan Brand Classic, which tips April 15 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Odom, who hails from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, Calif., recently hit the 1,000-point mark at Chaminade in just two years with the program.  On the season, she has averaged 21.3 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.1 blocks and 1.6 steals.  
The 6-2 forward owns 17 games with 20 or more points along with a season-high 31 points versus El Camino Real.  She also has registered 12 double-doubles on the year.
Odom and the Chaminade College Preparatory squad have produced a 29-4 record on the year and will next play in the playoffs March 19 against Long Beach Poly.  The game will tip at 8 p.m., (ET) at The Pyramid located at Long Beach State.
The Duke signee will also compete in the McDonald's All-America contest March 30 at 6:30 p.m., on ESPNU.
