Fuller Out Indefinitely Following Knee Surgery

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke redshirt freshman wide receiver Keyston Fuller will be out indefinitely after undergoing right knee surgery addressing a tibial plateau fracture. He injured the knee during Thursday morning's conditioning workout.

Surgery was performed Saturday by Ned Amendola, a team physician/Sports Medicine Orthopaedic Surgeon at Duke.

Fuller, a 6-0, 180-pound native of Griffin, Ga., had been named co-Most Improved Offensive Player honors along with center Austin Davis following spring practice.

Fuller did not see game action during the fall of 2015, but was the recipient of the program's Sonny Falcone Iron Duke Award, an honor presented annually to one offensive player, one defensive player and one player in the developmental program for their year-round commitment to strength training and conditioning.

As a senior at Griffin High School in 2014, Fuller was named to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution All-State first team AAAA and All-Region AAAA Division B first team as a wide receiver. He also picked up Georgia Sports Writers Association All-State Class AAAA Honorable Mention accolades following his final campaign.
