DURHAM, N.C. - Duke redshirt seniors DeVon Edwards and Thomas Sirk will join head coach David Cutcliffe as Duke's representatives at the annual ACC Football Kickoff at the Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C. The event is the league's signature media blitz and features two players and the head coach from every ACC member institution.
The ACC Football Kickoff takes place on Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22. Head coaches and student-athletes from ACC Coastal Division schools will be available on the 21st with the head coaches and student-athletes from Atlantic Division teams available on the 22nd. Other highlights include guest speakers and photo opportunities.
Media in attendance will also vote on the Preseason All-ACC teams as well as the predicted league order of finish. The order of finish and preseason player of the year will be announced Monday, July 25 with the Preseason All-ACC team announced Wednesday, July 27.
The event will be covered across a variety of digital and social media platforms, including the official Twitter and Instagram accounts of Duke football: @Duke_FB. Fans can also follow Edwards, Sirk and Cutcliffe using the hashtag #ACCkickoff.
Blue Devil Network will also be on hand to chronicle the Thursday media blitz and get behind-the-scenes footage of Edwards and Sirk as they interact with local, regional and national media in all forms of publication and broadcast.
