Get to Know DWB Junior Sofia Roma

DURHAM, N.C.— The Duke women's basketball program welcomes three newcomers to the 2016-17 roster as Leaonna Odom, Sofia Roma and Emily Schubert signed with the Blue Devils this past year.
The trio attended second session of summer school and the Blue Devil Network caught up with each of newcomers to get to know them.
The third and final newcomer we are highlighting is Roma, who is a 6-2 junior forward from Richmond Hill, N.Y. Roma played the last two years at Wagner, before transferring to the Blue Devils. She started 27-of-28 games and averaged 10.0 rebounds, 5.7 points and 2.1 blocks as a sophomore. Roma collected 14 games with 10 or more rebounds and her 10.0 rebounding average ranked 25th nationally and second in the Northeastern Conference.
