● Duke looks to add to its win total Friday night after a thrilling win over Georgia Southern Tuesday.
● The Blue Devils are 3-2-1 and are in search of their first ACC win of the campaign.
● Pitt is 1-5-1 and is coming off a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime loss to Loyola Tuesday night.
Honoring Micah Gaus
● September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Duke men's soccer is encouraging fans to don their gold and Duke Blue to raise awareness and honor the memory of Blue Devil hero Micah Gaus.
● Micah was Duke's biggest fan, coming to all of the Blue Devil games he could and cheering his heart out. He lost his battle with cancer August 29, but the Blue Devils have never forgotten him.

Scouting The Panthers
● Pittsburgh comes to Durham after a heartbreaking overtime loss to Loyola. The Panthers, holding a 1-0 lead, gave up a goal in the 89th minute and again in the 93rd minute to fall to 1-5-1 on the year.
● Luca Mellor leads the Panthers offense with two goals and Kevin Angulo has a goal and two assists for four points. Three other players have a single tally. Pitt is averaging less than a goal per game and four of its six goals came in a single game. The Panthers have been shut out four times in 2016.
●Mikal Outcalt has played all by five minutes in goal and owns a 1.25 goals against average and a .791 save percentage.
● Pittsburgh is 0-2-1 away from home and lost to No. 1 North Carolina by a narrow 1-0 margin in its previous ACC road game.
