DETROIT, Mich. – For the first time in program history, Duke football has arrived in Detroit, Mich. Thursday afternoon the Duke football team landed in the Motor City to begin 2017 Quick Lane Bowl preparations.
Duke departed from campus around 11:30 a.m. to head to Raleigh-Durham International Airport for its charter flight to Detroit. Upon arriving around 3 p.m., the Blue Devils went on a charter bus tour of Detroit before arriving at their hotel for the week – the Greektown Hotel & Casino.
Blue Devil Network had exclusive access to all the day's adventures and spoke to sophomore cornerback Mark Gilbert and redshirt senior offensive tackle Gabe Brandner the trip to Detroit, the tour of the city and what they're most looking forward to this week.
