Setting the Scene...
The third-seeded and 13th-ranked Duke women's basketball team (27-4) will play in the ACC Championship for the 15th time in school history and look for its ninth title as the Blue Devils take on top-seeded and third-ranked Notre Dame (29-3) Sunday, March 5 at 1 p.m., live on ESPN2. The contest will be played at the HTC Center in Conway, S.C.
Sunday's title contest will be aired on ESPNU with Beth Mowins (PXP) and Debbie Antonelli (Color) calling the action. It will also be carried on the Blue Devil IMG Sports Network on www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards on the air beginning at 12:45 p.m. It will be aired live on 620 AM, 99.3 FM, 96.5 FM, TuneIn Radio app and www.GoDuke.com.

Duke will await the NCAA Tournament selection show, which will take place Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m.
Storylines/Other Blue Devil Notes...
• Duke will have another quick turnaround as the Blue Devils played their first ACC Tournament game at less than 41 hours ago on Friday evening and then faced Miami at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday.
• The Blue Devils last won an ACC title in 2013 and have won other ACC Championships in 2011, 2010, 2004, 2003, 2003, 2001 and 2000.
• Lexie Brown's eight steals in two ACC Tournament games this year leads all players.
• Duke owns an 8-6 record in the ACC Tournament Championship. Notre Dame has knocked the Blue Devils out of the ACC Tournament in each of the last three years - two in the semifinals and one in the finals.
• The Blue Devils are riding a 10-game winning streak.
• Lexie Brown owns 570 points on the season, which ranks 10th on Duke's single season charts. She needs three more to move into a tie with Monique Currie (573).
• The 62 points Notre Dame scored against Duke in the first meeting is the lowest the Irish have scored over the last 17 games.
• Lexie Brown has averaged 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals in two ACC Tournament games this season. She has hit 50.0 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from downtown. Brown has hit 13-of-14 free throws.
• On its way to the ACC Championship, Duke has never had to face three straight ranked opponents like it has had to this year -- No. 21 Syracuse, No. 16 Miami and No. 3 Notre Dame.
• Over last four contests, Leaonna Odom has averaged 10.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals. In the ACC Tournament, she has hit 7-of-8 field goals for an 87.5 percentage.
• Lexie Brown has averaged 21.8 points, 4.3 assists, 3.3 steals and 4.3 rebounds the last six games. She has hit 55.6 percent from the field and 43.0 percent from long range. Brown has tallied 20 or more points in four out of the last five games.
• In Duke's 40 years in the ACC Tournament, the Blue Devils own a 1-9 all-time record against No. 1 seeds. The Blue Devils have lost seven in a row against top-seeded teams in the ACC Tournament with the last win coming against Virginia in 1995.
• Lexie Brown has hit a three-pointer in 15 consecutive games and Rebecca Greenwell has drained a trey in 14 straight contests.
• Freshman Leaonna Odom had 13 points off the bench, including seven in the fourth quarter, against Miami in the semifinals. She totaled double-digit scoring for the third time out of the last four games and ninth overall time this season
• Duke has held two opponents to an ACC-best 49.0 points and 29.3 percent shooting in the tournament.
• The Blue Devils are seeded No. 3 for the fourth time in school history and the third time under Coach P. In those games, Duke owns a 6-3 record with three trips to the ACC Championship.

• Only Duke alumna Tricia Liston has made at least 62 three-point baskets while shooting at least 40.0 percent from downtown in a season. Duke has two players - Rebecca Greenwell (77 made threes, 40.3 percent and Lexie Brown (68 made threes, 40.5 percent) who are accomplishing it this season.
• This is the first time in school history Duke has started a season unranked and then moved into the top 15 of the national rankings.
• In 54 career starts for Oderah Chidom, the Blue Devils have totaled a 37-17 record. Duke's current lineup of Kendall Cooper, Chidom, Lexie Brown, Rebecca Greenwell and Kyra Lambert are 11-0 this season.
• In ACC games, Lexie Brown was responsible for 40.09 percent of Duke's offense. Of Duke's 419 made baskets in 16 ACC games, Brown had a hand in 168 of those, with made 107 made baskets and 61 assists. Of Duke's 80 made threes in ACC contests, Brown made 36 of those (45.0 percent).
• For the season, Oderah Chidom and Kendall Cooper have combined to block 109 shots. Duke's opponents, collectively, have only blocked 78 shots.
• Rebecca Greenwell is currently on pace to become the first Duke player to average 16+ points/game, 6+ rebounds/game and 2.4+ three pointers/game.
• The Blue Devil defense is one of the best in the nation and has only allowed four teams to hit above 40.0 percent from the field -- Old Dominion (47.1), South Carolina (42.1), Florida State (45.8) and North Carolina (42.9).
• Duke currently boasts two scorers averaging over 16.0 points a contest -- Lexie Brown (18.4) and Rebecca Greenwell (16.5). The Blue Devils have not featured two scorers averaging over 16.0 points since the 1996-97 campaign (Kira Orr - 17.5; Ty Hall - 16.3).
• With a 5.5 per game average, the Blue Devils lead the ACC and rank in the top 25 nationally in blocks per game.

Win Streaks...
Duke and Notre Dame own the two longest winning streaks in the ACC as the Irish have won 13 in a row and the Blue Devils have won 10. The streaks rank in the top 10 nationally.
Swat Party...
The senior tandem of Kendall Cooper and Oderah Chidom have combined to block 10 shots in the 2017 ACC Tournament. Over their career, the duo have swatted a combined 27 shots over the last four years in tournament action.
The top two shot blockers in the ACC will face off Sunday with Notre Dame's Brianna Turner (2.4) and Duke's Oderah Chidom (2.0).
Hey, I Know You...
Duke's redshirt junior Rebecca Greenwell and Notre Dame's Lindsay Allen and Brianna Turner played on the 2012 USA Basketball U17 World Championship team that posted an 8-0 record and won the gold medal in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
A Family Affair...
As the Blue Devils head to Conway, S.C., for the ACC Tournament, sophomore Crystal Primm is looking forward to seeing her father, Terry, who is an assistant coach with Coastal Carolina women's basketball team.
She will have limited time as Duke is scheduled to arrive Thursday, March 2 and the Coastal Carolina squad played Appalachian State on March 4 in Boone, N.C.
Terry Primm is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Chanticleers.
The Series with Notre Dame...
The Blue Devils and the Fighting Irish will be meeting for the 16th time in school history. Notre Dame leads the series with a 14-1 record, including winners of 12 in a row. The squads have met in the ACC Tournament a total of three times and the Irish have won all three contests.
Coach P has a record of 2-10 against the Irish.
What Happened in Last Meeting...
The Blue Devils started strong but were unable to hold off a late-surging Notre Dame squad, falling 62-58 in a battle of top-15 teams Jan. 26 at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
With the contest tied at halftime, the Irish pushed ahead in the third period. Duke responded to an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit by finishing on a 7-0 run, but slipped to 17-4 on the season and 5-3 in ACC play.
Junior Lexie Brown topped the 20-point mark for the third time in as many games, pacing the Blue Devils with 22 points and matching her season high with four treys. Freshman Leaonna Odom and redshirt junior Rebecca Greenwell also reached double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively, while Odom and senior Oderah Chidom led Duke on the boards with seven rebounds apiece.
Duke was solid on the defensive end in the opening minutes, limiting the Irish to a 1-of-5 shooting start from the floor. While Brianna Turner had eight of Notre Dame's first 10 points, Brown headlined a balanced scoring effort with 12 of her own, giving the squad a 24-17 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Following a fast-paced first 10 minutes of action, both teams endured tough shooting stretches in the second frame. The Irish were able to cut into the lead behind seven points from Arike Ogunbowale and five from Turner, knotting the contest at 35 heading into the intermission.
Brown's 14 points led all players at the break while Odom and Chidom combined for 10 of the Blue Devils' 21 rebounds.
Odom and sophomore Kyra Lambert powered a 4-0 spurt to kick off the third quarter but Notre Dame would go on to take its first lead of the contest at 40-39. Scoring continued to go back and forth, with Brown hitting a pair of treys. However, the Irish strung together six unanswered to close out the period.
The Irish widened the margin to six early in the fourth quarter and edged past Duke in the rebounding column. Turnovers cost the Blue Devils offensive opportunities, allowing Notre Dame to go up by double digits. Duke closed the gap to four inside the final four minutes but ran out of time to complete the comeback.
Turner totaled 25 points and 12 rebounds for the Irish while Marina Mabrey and Ogunbowale had nine points each.
After opening with 56 percent shooting from the field in the first quarter, the Blue Devils finished with a 39 percent shooting clip. Notre Dame also shot 39 percent from the floor.
ACC Tournament Win Percentage...
Head coach Joanne P. McCallie owns an ACC-best ACC Tournament winning percentage (76.0) in her 10 appearances with the Blue Devils. She has notched a 19-6 record to go along with three titles.
McCallie in Tournament Play...
In her 25 years as a head coach, Joanne P. McCallie has produced a 42-15 record in league tournament action. She totaled an 8-1 mark in the North Atlantic Conference Tournament with two titles, a 10-2 record along with two titles in the America East Tournament, a 6-6 mark with one title in the Big Ten Tournament and a 19-6 mark in the ACC Tournament to go along with titles in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
Duke in the ACC Tournament...
The Blue Devils own a 47-31 overall record in the ACC Tournament and have won at least one game in 22 out of the last 23 years.
In ACC Tournament games played at sites other than Greensboro, N.C., Duke owns a record of 11-22 in those contests with three appearances in the championship game in 1995, 1996 and 2017.
All eight ACC Championships won by the Blue Devils have come in Greensboro, N.C.
The tournament has been played in the state of South Carolina only seven times and in those games Duke has a record of 6-10. The last time the tournament appeared in South Carolina was in 1996 in Rock Hill, S.C.
