Duke Gridiron Monday starts your work week with a beyond-the-numbers look at Blue Devil football with photos, social media, recaps, #DukeInTheNFL updates and more.
SATURDAY REWIND: Duke 28, Georgia Tech 14
Duke QB Daniel Jones threw three touchdown passes and the Blue Devil defense bottled up Georgia Tech's explosive rushing attack in a 28-14 win in Atlanta.
The Blue Devils defeated the Yellow Jackets for the fourth time in the last five seasons, this time snapping a 7-7 deadlock with three touchdowns in the last two minutes of the third quarter. All three scores were set up by defensive takeaways.
Georgia Tech entered the weekend leading the nation in rushing offense by averaging 373.0 yards per contest. The Yellow Jackets, who scored 60-plus points in each of their last two games, were held to just 229 ground yards and a season-low 14 points.
Jones finished with 206 passing yards while LB Joe Giles-Harris posted a team-high 15 tackles.
QUOTABLE
“We had guys on defense step up and make plays. Chris Rumph II. Dylan Singleton. Ben Humphreys. Our D line just dominated. That's all you can ask for as an inside linebacker when you are playing the option.”
-- Duke LB Joe Giles-Harris

FOUR STRAIGHT FOR JACKSON
Duke RB Deon Jackson posted a rushing touchdown for the fourth consecutive game, and leads the Blue Devils with five total ground scores on the season.
CERENORD LOST FOR THE SEASON

JOINING ELITE COMPANY
In the win at Georgia Tech, WR T.J. Rahming became the fourth player in Duke history to reach the 200-grab plateau, joining Jamison Crowder (283), Conner Vernon (283) & Donovan Varner (207) ... In 43 career games, Rahming has 202 receptions for 2,387 yards and nine TDs.
QB EFFICIENCY

TWEETS OF THE NIGHT
Salute @3GotTheJuice https://t.co/qCPvs4ZFbK

Former @McEachernFtball star @3GotTheJuice has had quite a homecoming. First he picks up his 200th career reception. Then moments later, he scores on a 48-yard TD reception to break a 7-7 tie. He's also wearing that #3 looking very similar to Jamison Crowder at @DukeFOOTBALL.
