DURHAM, N.C. – The fifth episode of Blue Devil Briefs features head coach David Cutcliffe talking about Duke center Jack Wohlabaugh.
Wohlabaugh, a 6-4, 300-pound native of Akron, Ohio, has played in all five games and started Duke's last three contests at center. Following his first career start at Baylor, he was tabbed the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week.
He spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons as a member of the football program at Ohio State, earning an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2017. Wohlabaugh did not see game action in two seasons at Ohio State as the Buckeyes went a combined 23-4, earned a berth in the College Football Playoff in 2016 and won both the Big Ten Championship (27-21 over Wisconsin) and Goodyear Cotton Bowl (24-7 over Southern California) in 2017.
