DURHAM, N.C. – Duke head coach David Cutcliffe is fond of saying he loves coaching coaches. The 2013 ACC and National Coach of the Year has done such a good job with his disciples that three have gone on to become FBS head coaches.
Coach David Cutcliffe's Duke Football Show caught up with University of Colorado head coach Mike MacIntyre, East Carolina University head coach Scottie Montgomery and University of Mississippi head coach Matt Luke about the impact Cutcliffe has had on them, lessons they've learned and what makes Cutcliffe so successful.
During his collegiate career, Cutcliffe has coached in 27 bowl games, mentored two Super Bowl MVPs in Peyton Manning (Tennessee) and Eli Manning (Ole Miss) and guided 11 quarterbacks who either earned all-conference honors or directed their respective school to a bowl game victory.
Duke wraps up a two-game road swing this Saturday in Miami with a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN2.
