- Friday night's game falls at the same time as Duke men's basketball Countdown to Craziness event, therefore affecting parking. Fans will have to pay $10 cash and parking will be available at the jogging trail on Cameron Blvd./751 or the Chemistry Lot on Circuit Drive. ADA parking is available for $10 in Whitford Drive.
- Thundersticks and vuvuzelas will be available for fans, while Moe's Southwest Grill and Mike D's will be on site with food samples. Make plans to arrive early to avoid any traffic and to take into consideration for walking time from the parking areas.
Series History
- Duke and NC State meet for the 80th time Friday night. The Blue Devils hold a commanding 52-20-7 lead in the series and are 5-0-1 in the previous six
- outings, including a 6-2 win in Durham in 2015. This is the first meeting between the two teams since 2016.
- The Blue Devils have won three straight against the Wolfpack, outscoring them 11-5. The last time NC State defeated Duke at Koskinen Stadium was in 2009, a 1-0 double overtime victory.

Breaking Down the Blue Devils
- Duke returns home to host NC State in a crucial ACC matchup. The Blue Devils are 6-5-1 overall, 2-3-0 in conference play and coming off a 3-2 loss at Elon Tuesday night. Duke currently sits in fourth in the Coastal Division with six points and seventh overall in the ACC.
- Senior Daniele Proch is the headliner on offense with 10 goals and 23 points overall. He is three shy of his total of 26 points last season after 12 games. Classmate Brandon Williamson has picked up his offensive output recently and has a goal and three assists overall. Max Moser is the top assist provider and tallied his first goal against Syracuse to bring his points total to six for the year. Overall, 10 different Duke players have scored a goal this season.
- Defensively, Duke started the season with shutouts in three of the first four games before allowing 13 goals in the next five outings. Aedan Stanley and Matthias Frick returned to center back roles in recent games to help solidify the backline. In goal, Will Pulisic has an ACC-best 50 saves, four shutouts and a 1.39 goals against average.

ACC Standings
? With the ACC Championship approaching teams are looking even closer at the standings. Duke is currently fourth in the Coastal Division behind Virginia, UNC and Pitt. A win by the Blue Devils coupled with a Pitt loss to Virginia Friday will put Duke into at least third place or a tie for second depending on the outcome of the UNC and Wake Forest matchup. A victory over the Wolfpack can launch Duke into a tie for fifth place overall and possibly a tie for fourth with two games remaining.
? The 2019 ACC Championship gets underway Nov. 5-6 with the four first-round games. The division winners are the No. 1 and 2 seeds, while the remaining 10 teams get ranked according to overall ACC finish. The top four teams get a bye to the quarterfinals Nov. 10. The title game is Nov. 17.

About NC STATE
- NC State comes to Durham sporting a 7-3-2 overall record and 3-2-0 mark in ACC play. The Wolfpack, ranked 23rd, is coming off a scoreless draw at South Carolina Tuesday. They own ACC wins over Boston College, Louisville and Notre Dame. The two losses came at Virginia and against Wake Forest.
- The Wolfpack are averaging just over a goal per game and have 15 overall on the year. DAvid Loera and Kuda Muskwe both have three goals apiece to pace the offense. Jamie Smith has two tallies and three assists and Tyler Gabarra has a goal and four assists.
- Defensively, NC State has been steady and has given up just 10 goals this season. The Wolfpack is allowing just 7.2 shots per game. In goal, Vinnie Durand sports a 0.83 goals against average and has only had to make 20 saves. NC State's opponents have fired just 30 shots on frame in the 12 games.
