DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke track & field team is set to host the annual Duke Invite April 19-20 at Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium in Durham, N.C.

Due to inclement weather expected for Friday, the schedule of events for the Duke Invite has been updated and can be found here. All information regarding this weekend can be found here.
Friday's competition will begin at 9 a.m., with running events starting simultaneously with the men's 5000m B sections. Action will resume Saturday with field events scheduled for an 11 a.m., start and track events beginning at 2:30 p.m., with the women's 4x100m relay.
In addition to the competition, Duke will honor its 2019 senior class on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
The Blue Devils feature several athletes that rank among the nation's top in multiple events.
In field events, Kiegan Lenihan holds the highest ranking for Duke in the ACC. At the Raleigh Relays, Lenihan posted a mark of 221-0.00 (67.37m) in the javelin, which ranks second in the ACC and tied for 31st in the country. Competing alongside Lenihan this weekend in the javelin will be Michael Marsack who is currently third in the conference with his 66.16m mark at the High Point VertKlasse Meet at the start of the outdoor season.
Rivers Ridout headlines the men's high jumpers with the third-best clearance in the conference this season. Ridout's 6-11.50 (2.12m) height at the Battle of the Blues ranks him tied for 30th in the nation.
Rounding out Duke's top field event participants is Nati Sheppard in the pole vault. Sheppard cleared 13-9.75 (4.21m) at the Texas Relays, which was good for the fourth-best mark in Duke outdoor history. Sheppard's height is currently third in the conference and tied for 23rd nationally.
Senior India Lowe is set to return to her home track this weekend in both the 400m and 400m hurdles. At the Battle of the Blues, Lowe clocked her fourth individual school-record time in the 400m hurdles (57.58), a time that is second in the ACC and tied for sixth nationally.
Additionally, both of Duke's All-America honorees from the indoor season will be in action this weekend. Matt Wisner will be competing in both the 800m and 1500m while Erin Marsh is slated for the 200m, long jump, shot put, 100m hurdles (invite) and high jump (invite).
Following this weekend at home, Duke will travel to Philadelphia, Pa., for the Penn Relays April 25-27.

Participant Bus & Van Loading Area & Parking – A temporary unloading/loading area is available on Frank Bassett Drive (GPS Address: 147 Frank Bassett Drive) outside Morris Williams Stadium. Team buses shuttling meet participants should use the Grounds Lot located at the end of Frank Bassett Drive to exit onto NC 751/Cameron Blvd. Team buses remaining on-site and team vans will be park in the Grounds Lot at the end of Frank Bassett Drive. Team buses & vans will not be permitted to park in other locations.
General Public & Meet Staff/Volunteer Parking - is available in Science Drive Garage (GPS Address: 3100 Cameron Blvd.) located on NC 751/Cameron Blvd. beginning Friday 7:00 AM and Saturday 9:00 AM. All entry/exit from Science Drive Garage is from NC 751/Cameron Blvd. There is no charge to park. There is no tailgating permitted in the garage – this policy will be strictly enforced on meet days.
General Public Accessible Parking – is available in the Whitford Lot (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive)on Whitford Drive off of Science Drive beginning Friday 6:00 AM and Saturday 8:00 AM. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point for guests with disabilities is available on Whitford Drive outside the Brandaleone Family North Gate of Morris Williams Stadium. Please speak to the lot attendant at the base of Whitford Drive for access for parking & drop-off.
