Duke Athletics Makes Donation to Boys & Girls Club

DURHAM, N.C. - Student-athletes from the Blue Devils' cross country, volleyball, women's tennis and football programs represented Duke Athletics on Tuesday as it made a donation of shoes to the local Boys & Girls Club.
Duke Athletics Equipment drove a truck to the Durham Boys & Girls Club filled with nearly 175 pairs of donated shoes. The Boys & Girls Club then lined up the footwear and handed it to its participants with Blue Devil student-athletes on hand for the event.
Representing Duke cross country were Michaela Reinhart and Sara Platek, the volleyball team had Kincey Smith and Samantha Amos attending, women's tennis was represented by Ema Lazic while Jackson Hubbard was football's representative.
