As a rookie, Schwantz earned ACC All-Freshman Team honors where she ranked second on the team with 350 kills, becoming the first Duke freshman with 350-plus kills since Rachael Moss in 2006.
Following the program's 20th NCAA Tournament appearance, the Blue Devils concluded the 2018 season with a 16-12 overall record and went 10-8 in conference play.
Duke will take the court for the first practice of the new season Saturday, August 10.
