Blue Devils Begin Preseason Practice

DURHAM, N.C. -- The Duke Blue Devils officially began preparation for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday with the team's first practice. The Blue Devils will practice 29 more times leading up to the season-opener versus Kansas in the State Farm Champions Classic at Madison Square Garden on November, 5.
The Blue Devils welcome back sophomore point guard Tre Jones and senior captains Javin DeLaurier and Jack White, who each played key roles on last year's team that went 32-6, claimed the ACC Championship and reached the Elite Eight. With head coach Mike Krzyzewski entering his 40th season on the Duke sideline in 2019-20, the Blue Devils are on a mission for the program's sixth National Championship.
Duke begins the preseason with Countdown to Craziness presented by Delta Air Lines on Friday, October 18 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
