The Blue Devil men's cross country team moved up to number five in this week's USTFCCCA Southeast Regional rankings.
DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's cross country team climbed the most recent United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional poll, earning number five in the Southeast region.
Duke placed first out of 14 schools at the Roy Griak Invitational last Saturday on the Les Bolstad Cross Country Course at the University of Minnesota. Junior CJ Ambrosio led all Blue Devil runners with an 8k time of 24:48.1 for third place, while classmate Paul Dellinger placed right behind him with a fourth place time of 24:49.1.
Duke joins fellow ACC schools Virginia (No. 1), NC State (No. 2) and Virginia Tech (No. 4) in the top five of the Southeast Regional rankings. The USTFCCCA National Rankings will be posted tomorrow afternoon.
