DURHAM, N.C. – Two former Duke women's soccer standouts are set to face each other tomorrow evening as
Kayla McCoy and
Rebecca Quinn will square off against one another in an Olympic Qualifying match competing for respective countries.
McCoy is set to compete for the Jamaican National Team, as they go against the Quinn and the Canadian National Team as part of the Concacaf Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. The match is set to kick off at 6 p.m., airing live on FS2.
McCoy and Jamaica look to bounce back in their second game of the tournament after falling, 1-0, to Mexico on Wednesday. McCoy made the most of her final season with the Blue Devils in 2018, leading the team with 12 goals and 32 points, along with eight assists. The forward finished third with 15-career game-winning goals, fourth with 38 scores and 92 points and fifth with five multi-goal performances. She was also one of the most decorated Blue Devils in NCAA Tournament history, finishing second in program history in postseason play with 18 points, third with seven goals and tied for seventh with four assists.

A native of Toronto, Quinn wrapped up an illustrious career with the Blue Devils in 2017, capturing United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America honors and being named All-ACC First Team and the program's first ACC Midfielder of the Year. Quinn, who led the Blue Devils to two College Cup appearances in her four years, finished her career with eight goals and nine assists while seeing 5,499 minutes of action as one of the nation's top midfielders.
