2014 – Women's Golf – The Blue Devils won the Tar Heel Invitational with rounds of 288, 286 and 288 for a 54-hole ledger of 862.
October 13
2012 – Men's Cross Country – Five members of the Duke men's cross country team ran personal bests to lead the Blue Devils to a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky. Graduate student Mike Moverman paced the team with a PR eight-kilometer time of 23:58.0 to finish 39th place individually. With the multiple impressive individual marks, Duke was able to edge four nationally-ranked programs in the team standings.
2013 – Women's Golf – Duke won the Tar Heel Invitational with rounds of 286, 282 and 289 for a three-day total of 857.
October 14
2012 – Men's Golf – The Blue Devils captured the 2012 Rod Myers Invitational crown for the second straight season after firing a 12-under 852 at the Duke University Golf Club. The Blue Devils blistered the course for a 10-under 278 on Sunday to run away with the team title by 12 strokes. Senior Julian Suri was the co-medalist at seven-under (209).
2014 – Men's Cross Country – Duke sophomore Daniel Moore was tabbed ACC Cross Country Performer of the Week after helping guide the Blue Devils to a second-place finish at the Royals Cross Country Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. Moore placed fourth overall in the Division I men's race, posting an eight-kilometer time of 25:29.8. The honor was the first of Moore's Duke career.
2016 – Women's Cross Country – Three members of the Duke women's cross country team posted top-10 finishes to guide the Blue Devils to a first-place team standing at the VertCross Invitational in Kernersville, N.C. Sophomore Gabrielle Richichi (21:27.35), freshman Lindsay Billings (21:32.24) and sophomore Sheridan Wilbur (21:35.59) placed second, third and fourth, respectively, in a field of over 200 runners. Both Richichi and Billings posted PR six-kilometer times in the meet.
2018 – Women's Golf – The Blue Devils won the Tar Heel Invitational for the 16th time in school history with rounds of 271, 290 and 289 for a 54-hole ledger of 850. For the fifth time out of the last six years and the 16th time in school history, Duke won at UNC.
October 15
2000 – Women's Golf – Duke won the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate for the fourth time in school history with rounds of 300, 297 and 293 for a three-day ledger of 890. Freshman Virada Nirapathpongporn fired a final round 69 and won individual honors with a three-day total of 215 (76-70-69, -1) for her first collegiate victory.
2014 – Men's Basketball – Head coach Mike Krzyzewski added to his impressive awards resume as he received the 2014 George Catlett Marshall Medal, the highest award presented by the Association of the United States Army. Awarded annually to an individual who has exhibited selfless service to the United States of America, the medal was presented to Krzyzewski by the Association's Council of Trustees at the George Catlett Marshall Memorial Dinner, the final event of the Association's three-day Annual Meeting and Exposition at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington.
2017 – Women's Golf – With rounds of 283, 271 and 270 for a total of 833, Duke claimed the Tar Heel Invitational. Leona Maguire claimed her ninth career victory and her second straight Tar Heel Invitational title with rounds of 69, 66 and 69 for a tournament-record 12-under-par, 204. She won by one stroke over Ainhoa Olarra of South Carolina (205).
October 16
2015 – Women's Soccer – After a decade without a victory against their most bitter rivals, the Duke women's soccer team used a first half goal to defeat fifth-ranked North Carolina, 1-0, on Oct. 16 at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C. Imani Dorsey scored the game-winning goal off an assist from Ashton Miller. EJ Proctor collected the shutout in goal for the Blue Devils notching four saves.
October 17
2003 – Women's Golf – The Blue Devils claimed the Stanford Intercollegiate with rounds of 281, 278 and 286 for a 54-hole ledger of 845. For the second straight tournament, sophomore Liz Janangelo tied for individual medalist honors with a 209, which was seven-over-par.
2016 – Men's Basketball – The Duke Men's Basketball program took the next step in its social media innovation with the debut of its new @DukeMBB accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube -- a multi-faceted initiative that will allow fans and recruits to engage with the program's industry-leading social media content. The @DukeMBB accounts represented a merger of the program's information-based @Duke_MBB accounts with its multimedia-focused @DukeBluePlanet accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
