Brinker Moves up to Fourth in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. – With a second round of three-over-par, 75, Duke University women's golf freshman Phoebe Brinker moved up to a tie for fourth with 18 holes remaining at the Grandover Resort Women's Griffin Amateur, which is being played at the Grandover Resort East Course in Greensboro, N.C.

A native of Wilmington, Del, Brinker collected three birdies in the second round and played the final 11 holes at even par. She holds a 36-hole ledger of 151, which is tied for fourth, and only one shot out of third.

Lauren Walsh continues to lead the action with a one-under-par, 143.

In the final round, Brinker will tee off at 10:09 a.m., off hole No. 1.
