Phoebe Brinker is in a tie for fourth overall heading into Tuesday's final round at the Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
Conditions were tougher on Monday as all scores were three strokes higher on an average. Brinker, who is from Wilmington, Del., carded a 78 in round two and is tied for fourth with a 36-hole ledger of 150. Â
Brinker registered birdies on No. 3 and No. 18 on Monday and owns eight birdies over her first two rounds.
Riley Smyth continues the action with a three-under-par, 141. Â
In the final round, Brinker will tee off at 9 a.m., off hole No. 1 along with Sarah Willis and Jennifer Cleary. Â
