Get to know Michael Carter II:
Q: Is there a significance behind wearing No. 26? MC: Not really, I got it in high school. It wasn't my first number, but I switched with a teammate and ended up with 26. It stuck.
Q: What is your favorite Duke football memory? MC: Probably going to the bowl games and winning them. Those are some of my favorite memories. Being with the team, just us, for a week in a different city and doing different activities was fun. But, going out on the field and playing hard, winning together and holding the trophy at the end was pretty cool.
Q:Â What is your favorite home cooked meal? MC:Â My mom makes a really good roast with potatoes and carrots.
Q:Â If you could attend any sporting event in the past, which would you go to? MC:Â The World Series when the Yankees beat the Phillies in 2009. I wish I could have been there for that. I was a big Yankees fan back then.
Q: What is your favorite sweet treat? MC: Chocolate chip ice cream.
Q: If you were stranded on an island, what teammate would you want with you? MC: Josh Blackwell. We would be chill.
Q: If you went on the Amazing Race, what coach would you want as your teammate? MC: Coach G [Matt Guerrieri]. I know he would do whatever it takes to win. We would have an edge on the other competitors for sure.
Q: If you could vacation anywhere where would you vacation? MC: I'd go to Europe – France, Italy, Germany, all those countries.
