SEBRING, Fla. – Duke University women's golf junior
Gina Kim along with incoming freshman Sophia Bae are set to compete in the Harder Hall Women's Invitational, which will take place Dec. 28-31 in Sebring, Fla.
In the championship division, there will be 72 golfers playing 72 holes of stroke play. Â
Kim, a native of Chapel Hill, N.C., is coming off collecting a 3-1 record at the Arnold Palmer Cup, which closed last week. A two-time All-America at Duke, Kim notched a 72.88 stroke average with two top 20 finishes in a shortened 2019-20 campaign. Â
A product of Norwood, N.J., Bae is a 2019 Honorable Mention Rolex Junior All-American and 2018 AJGA Junior All-Star Team selection. She collected 13 top five, 20 top 10 and 25 top 20 placements since 2016 on the AJGA.
In the first round on Monday, Kim will open action at 8:21 a.m., off hole No. 1, while Bae will tee off at 8:30 a.m. In the second round Tuesday, Kim will tee off at 8:48 a.m., off hole No. 10 along with Bae at 8:39 a.m.
