DURHAM, N.C. – Coming off an impressive seven-stroke victory at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge this week to open the 2020 spring slate, the Duke women's golf program moved up to No. 4 nationally in the latest Golfweek rankings.  
Duke, knocked off nine top 10 teams in the spring opener, and won its first tournament of the 2019-20 campaign.  Head coach 
Dan Brooks registered his 137th all-time victory, which continues to lead all NCAA head coaches.  
Following an 11-under-par, 273, Monday, the Blue Devils held an eight-stroke lead heading into the final round.  Duke carded a one-under-par, 283, and collected a seven-stroke victory at the 6,017-yard, par 71 Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.  The 11-under-par score of 273 for the Blue Devils was the tied for third-lowest 18-hole ledger for Duke on a par 71 course.  
Texas holds at No. 1 in the rankings, while Southern California, Arizona State, Duke, Stanford, Kent State, Arizona, Wake Forest, South Carolina and Florida round out the top 10 teams.
Junior 
Miranda Wang turned in a career-best week with rounds of 74, 66 and 68 on her way to placing tied for second with a five-under, 208.  Senior 
Ana Belac placed tied for fifth with rounds of 74, 66 and 70 for a three-under-par, 210.  Also carding a career-best tied for 12th finish was freshman 
Megan Furtney will three straight even-par rounds of 71.  
In the individual rankings, Belac moved up to No. 5 overall and junior 
Jaravee Boonchant is 13th as two Blue Devils rank in the top 15 nationally.  Sophomore 
Gina Kim is also No. 58.
Duke will next compete in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate March 6-8 in Hilton Head, S.C.
