Bilokin, Chi Tabbed to ITA All-Tournament Team
DURHAM, N.C. – The 2020 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I National Women's Team Indoor Championship All-Tournament Team was announced Thursday, as voted on by the 16 participating head coaches.
Sophomore Margaryta Bilokin and senior Meible Chi were tabbed to the all-tournament team following their 2-0 performance.
The doubles team overcame a 0-3 deficit to defeat Pepperdine's Anastasia Iamachkine/Astrid Olsen (6-4) before earning a 6-2 victory over Georgia's Marta Gonzalez/Elena Christofi.
Despite being unfinished, Bilokin and Chi were leading North Carolina's No. 29 Makenna Jones/Alle Sanford (5-2) in their third match of the weekend. Bilokin and Chi are now 2-1 in 2020.
The Blue Devils will return to action Friday, Feb. 21 to open ACC play at Boston College.
