DURHAM, N.C. – Duke softball will have three games nationally televised on the ACC Network during the 2020 campaign, as announced by ESPN and the conference office Tuesday evening.
The Blue Devils first two contests on the network will be at home in the Duke Softball Stadium with the first game against Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb 29. Duke's second game will be a midweek matchup versus UNCG on Wednesday, March 25.
While on the road, the Blue Devils will make its third appearance on the network during their series at Boston College on Friday, April 3.
ACCN will feature the preliminary rounds of the ACC Softball Championship on May 6-8 and ESPN will broadcast the ACC Softball Championship game on Saturday, May 9. This year's tournament will be hosted at Louisville's Ulmer Stadium.
Grouped with lacrosse and baseball programming, ACC spring sports will have 140 regular season and tournament games on the network. Counting the 36 softball games on the ACCN, various ESPN networks and ACC Network Extra will carry 271 games through the 2020 season – the most coverage ever in the history of the sport.
