LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 4 Duke men's golf team wrapped up Day 2 of the Southern Highlands Collegiate on Monday at the Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
Duke shot a 3-over-par 291 on the second day of the 15-team tournament. Monday's 291 for the Blue Devils was nine strokes better than their opening effort and left them at ninth place at 15-over 591.

Steven DiLisio paced the Blue Devils with an even-par 72 that included a team-leading four birdies. Junior

Adrien Pendaries each finished at 1-over par 73. Eaton and Pendaries carded three birdies apiece, while Katz registered the team's lone eagle thus far in the tournament on the par-five third hole.Â

Qi wen Wong (+12) closed out the Blue Devil five-man scoring rotation, while sophomore
Quinn Riley, who's playing as an individual this tournament, carded a 2-over par 74.Â
Katz now through two rounds sits in a tie for 11th place at even-par 144, with Eaton two strokes back in a tie for 19th place at 146.Â
USC remains on top of the field following a 5-under 283 performance. The unranked Trojans are four strokes clear of second-place No. 13 Texas (-1). Florida (E) and No. 6 Texas Tech (E) both shifted up on Day 2, while No. 24 UCLA (+5) dropped to fifth overall to close out the top five teams in the field.Â
Pepperdine's Sahith Theegala shot an impressive 7-under par 65 to pace the leaderboard on Day 2. USC's Yuxin Lin carded a 5-under 67 and currently leads the 84-man tournament with a 134 (-10) through two rounds.Â
The 54-hole tournament concludes Tuesday with the final round. Duke plays off the No. 1 hole with Oklahoma and Georgia beginning at 12 p.m. ETÂ
