LSU Tiger Golf Classic

For the sixth time as a collegiate golfer and the second in the 2016-17 season, Duke's Leona Maguire claimed medalist honors as the junior carded a season-best 10-under-par, 206, at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic 6,247-yard, par 72 University Club in Baton Rouge, La. As a team, the Blue Devils won the team title for the second straight season with 10-under-par, 854.
Maguire collected the wire-to-wire victory with rounds of 67, 68 and 71, which was four shots better than teammate
Virginia Elena Carta (210). A native of Cavan, Ireland, Maguire's led the field in par five scoring (seven-under, 4.42) and par four scoring (five-under, 3.83).
As a team, Duke collected its second win of the season with rounds of 285, 286 and 283.
Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational

The second-ranked Duke women's golf team continued its strong spring of 2002 start as the Blue Devils captured the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic in Austin, Texas by three strokes over host Texas at the Barton Creek Lakeside course. The Blue Devils were led by 2001 NCAA Individual Champion Candy Hannemann, who finished second individually with a 223.
Duke captured the title with a three-day total of 920 followed by Texas (923), Oklahoma (929), Ohio State (933) and Oklahoma State (946).
Hannemann fired rounds of 73, 76 and 74 and posted her best finish of the spring. Virada Nirapathpongporn finished eighth (228), Kristina Engstrom finished 15th (233) and Niloufar Aazam-Zanganeh finished in 20th (237).
