The Recap…
Looking Back on the 2019-20 Season
At the start of the 2019-2020 season, the Duke Blue Devils were projected to finish seventh in the Atlantic Coast Conference. But big wins over ACC powerhouses like NC State and Florida State pushed the Blue Devils into third. Swish Appeal and Duke assistant coach Sam Miller take a look at the secret to Duke's success this season.
It was an up-and-down season for the Duke Blue Devils, but the highs ultimately overshadowed the lows. @DukeWBB earned a No. 8 seed in our hypothetical NCAA bracket. Seniors Gorecki and Odom were standouts, along with an aggressive team defense.#NCAAW https://t.co/IJN8yF121v pic.twitter.com/LYXV7JhrwU

For all of you that have been to @DukeWBB games and constantly hear our bench yelling "REVERSE" this is what we all mean. Rebound & go! Great push down the floor followed by crisp movement of the ball, @MielaGoodchild for 3?? pic.twitter.com/EwqGKggpkA

Perfect execution of our scout and defensive principles. Opportunistic double by @HaleyGorecki and appropriate help and replace by @AJ_Onome & @jadeswilliams25. Only one shot allowed by the best rebounding guard in @accwbb as well. pic.twitter.com/8XzZcP0578

Kyra Lambert Honored with ACC's Top Six for Service Award
Four Duke student-athletes and two Duke teams have been awarded the Atlantic Coast Conference's Top Six for Service Award. Amongst the recipients was Duke women's basketball's graduate Kyra Lambert.
The accolade is presented annually to six student-athletes from each conference institution who demonstrates outstanding dedication to community service and outreach programs.
