2006 -- Men's Golf -- Michael Schachner set an NCAA record with a 60 in the third round of the 2007 NCAA Championship at the Golden Horseshoe Club in Williamsburg, Va. The 10-under matched the lowest round in relation to par in NCAA Championship history.
2008 – Women's Golf - Amanda Blumenherst and
Jennie Lee helped pace the United States to a 13-7 victory over Great Britain and Ireland at the 2008 Curtis Cup at the Old Course in St. Andrews.
June 2
2019 -- Baseball -- Duke captured its second consecutive Regional Championship, advancing to a Super Regional for the second straight year. The Blue Devils defeated Texas A&M in the championship game, notching a perfect 3-0 record across the NCAA Morgantown Regional. Duke defeated the Aggies, 8-5, in the opening game of the regional before downing host West Virginia, 3-0, in game two to advance to the finals.
2019 – Women's Golf -- Gina Kim finished as low amateur at the 2019 U.S. Women's Open, after carding rounds of 66, 72, 73 and 72 for a four-day ledger of 283. Her 72-hole score was the second-lowest by an amateur in U.S. Women's Open history.
2019 – Rowing – The Duke rowing program wrapped up competition at the 2019 NCAA Championships in Eagle Creek, Ind., where the team placed 16th out of 22 teams to mark the highest finish in program history. The effort was led by the varsity-4 boat advancing to the Petite Final, where it placed sixth with a time of 7:10.592. The V8 boat finished fifth in the C Final, crossing the line at 6:22.440. The Blue Devils would end the season ranked No. 12 in the CRCA/US Rowing Coaches poll.
June 3
2001 – Women's Golf -- Candy Hannemann finished as low amateur at the 2001 U.S. Women's Open, which was played at the Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. She turned in rounds of 73, 73, 72 and 73, which was 11-over-par.
2010 – Men's Lacrosse – Duke attackman
Ned Crotty was named the recipient of the 2010 Tewaaraton Trophy as the nation's top men's lacrosse player. Crotty collected the award at a banquet at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Crotty is Duke's second Tewaaraton Trophy winner after
Matt Danowski collected the award in 2007.
June 4
2018 -- Baseball -- The Blue Devils captured their fourth Regional Championship in school history, advancing to the program's first ever Super Regional. Duke defeated host Georgia twice to capture the NCAA Athens Regional. The Blue Devils advanced from the loser's bracket after dropping the first two games of the regional, defeating Campbell in a comeback effort before taking down Troy to move on to face Georgia.
June 6
2010 – Men's Lacrosse - Duke attackman
Ned Crotty was chosen as the No. 1 pick by the Chicago Machine in the 2010 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate draft. Crotty was the first Blue Devil to be taken first in the MLL draft. Seniors
Max Quinzani and
Parker McKee also were selected in the first round as the No. 3 and No. 4 picks, respectively. That year marked the first time in Duke lacrosse history and in Major League Lacrosse history three players from one program were selected among the top four players.
2013 – Track & Field – Senior
Curtis Beach picked up first team All-America honors by finishing seventh in the men's decathlon at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Ore. Beach posted an overall score of 7,989 points that consisted of a personal-record time of 14.54 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles. The two-day performance marked Beach's second All-America honor in the decathlon, as he also picked up first team status at the 2011 NCAA Championships.
June 7
2017 – Women's Golf -- Leona Maguire became the first two-time winner of the ANNIKA Award, which recognizes the most outstanding female Division I collegiate golfer.
2019 -- Baseball -- Duke defeated Vanderbilt, 18-5, in game one of the NCAA Nashville Super Regional, scoring the program's second-most runs in an NCAA Tournament Game. Eight of nine Duke starters registered at least one hit, with eight of nine also adding at least one run scored. The offense was led by three-it efforts from sophomore Joey Loperfido and freshman RJ Schreck, marking Schreck's first career three-hit game.
