Six Named to Phil Steele 2020 Preseason ACC Team

DURHAM, N.C. – Six Duke football players were named to the Phil Steele 2020 Preseason ACC Team, announced by the organization this week.

Kick returner Damond Philyaw-Johnson was listed as a first team recipient, while defensive end Victor Dimukeje garnered second team praise. Tight end Noah Gray was selected to the third team with offensive tackle Devery Hamilton, defensive end Chris Rumph II, and punt returner Josh Blackwell closing out the Blue Devils' acknowledged with fourth team accolades.

Four of those six earned All-ACC postseason distinction last season, including three being named an All-America.

Duke is set to kick off the 2020 season at home on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Middle Tennessee. Game details have yet to be determined.
