DURHAM, N.C. – The 10th-ranked Duke women's tennis team is back in action Sunday as it welcomes Furman to the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center for an 11 a.m., matchup.
The Blue Devils own a flawless 13-0 series record over the Paladins with their last meeting coming in 2018 with a 4-0 sweep.
The Paladins are off to a rough 0-3 start to the 2021 spring campaign and recently dropped a 6-1 decision to Mississippi State in Greenville. Furman boasts one ranked player in Katarina Kozarov who is tabbed No. 15 in the nation. She is currently 3-0 this spring. The Paladins also have two ranked doubles teams in No. 18 Julia Adams and Madison Dillon and No. 27 Kozarov and Adams.
The Blue Devils are 2-1 after the 2021 ITA Kickoff Weekend in Atlanta. Duke features six ranked singles players and two doubles teams on the national list. No. 8

Karolina Berankova are 3-2 this spring, while No. 28
Georgia Drummy and No. 29
Chloe Beck are both 4-2. No. 44
Margaryta Bilokin and No. 111
Meible Chi have played to a 5-2 overall ledger.
In doubles action, Beck and Berankova headline the Blue Devils with a 6-1 overall record.
Following the match against the Paladins, the Blue Devils will return to competition Sunday, Feb. 14 to welcome Appalachian State to Durham.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, Duke University will begin its spring sport program seasons without spectators at home events. Contests played on Duke's campus will include essential game management personnel and broadcast media. Traditional parking lots used by fans on game day will be closed.
