DURHAM – New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and offensive guard Matt Skura propelled the Big Blue to a 25-3 win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday afternoon to highlight 12 former Duke football players during the seventh week of play in the National Football League.

Jones, a native of Davidson, N.C., finished 23-of-33 passing for 203 yards and a touchdown. In addition, Jones recorded 28 yards on the ground via eight carries. He also hauled in a one-handed catch on a trick play for a 16-yard pickup, setting social media ablaze. Skura started at left guard in the win.

Rookie outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje and the Arizona Cardinals remained the only undefeated team in the NFL, improving to 7-0 with a 31-5 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Offensive guard Lucas Patrick started at center on Sunday for Green Bay, and assisted the Packers (6-1) to a 24-10 win against the Washington Football Team.

Cornerback Ross Cockrell started for Tampa Bay as the Buccaneers handled the Chicago Bears, 38-3, on Sunday. He tallied five tackles in the contest.
