POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – With a final round of three-under-par, 68, Duke University incoming freshman Andie Smith carded a fourth-place ledger at the Dixie Amateur, which was contested at the Palm Aire Country Club Cypress Course in Pompano Beach, Fla.
Smith saved her best round for Sunday as she registered five birdies en route to the tied for second-best score for the day of 68. Over the four days, Smith totaled rounds of 72, 72, 70 and 68 for a 72-hole ledger of 2-under, 282.
A product of Hobie Sound, Fla., Smith collected 13 birdies over the four rounds.
Latanna Stone took home individual honors with a 9-under, 275.
