Shepherd Discusses Blue Devil Win, 2021 Squad

DURHAM, N.C.— Coming off helping lead the Duke women's golf program to the team title at the Gamecock Intercollegiate last week along with collecting her first individual title as well, Blue Devil sophomore Erica Shepherd took some time recently to talk about the wins and Duke's 2021 squad.
Shepherd turned in rounds of 69, 70 and 70 for a career-best seven-under-par, 209, to win the individual title by three strokes. For her efforts, she earned the Golfweek Player of the Week, which was announced earlier this week and moved to No. 2 in the Golfweek individual rankings.
The Blue Devils will next compete in the Valspar Augusta Invitational March 13-14 at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga.
