Duke Ranked in Final Oracle/ITA Poll

DURHAM – Duke concluded the 2021 season ranked No. 36 in the final Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll, the organization announced this week.

Florida, the 2021 National Champions, garnered the top spot, followed by Baylor, Texas, Tennessee and TCU closing out the top-five.

The Blue Devils made their 28th overall appearance in the NCAA tournament earlier this month and their 22nd showing in the last 25 seasons. Duke's top doubles team of senior Sean Sculley and Garrett Johns also represented the Blue Devils during the 2021 NCAA Doubles Championship this month. The duo became the first Duke doubles team to reach the 32-team field since Spencer Furman and Nick Stachowiak did so in 2017.

Sculley and Johns, along with sophomore Andrew Zhang all garnered All-ACC recognition this year as well. Johns was tabbed to the second team, while Sculley and Zhang were third team selections. The all-league honor was a first for all three players.
