DURHAM – The league office announced the ACC Women's Golfer of the Month for April with Duke University women's golf junior
Gina Kim earning accolades. Â
During the month, Kim claimed the ACC Individual Championship and helped lead the Blue Devils to two team titles. Â
At the ACC Championship, Kim turned in an impressive run shooting 68, 69 and 69 for a 10-under, 206, to claim medalist honors. She became only the second ACC golfer to post three straight rounds in the 60s, while also tying for the second-lowest under-par score in conference history at 10-under.

Kim, who is from Chapel Hill, N.C., went 2-0 in match play competition, clinching the Blue Devils' wins over Virginia and Florida State to help Duke take home the ACC team title. She defeated sixth-ranked Beatrice Wallin of Florida State, 3&2, and knocked off Jennifer Cleary of Virginia, 3&2. It was Duke's 22nd overall ACC Championship.

Earlier in April, she posted a 2-1 record in the Cavalier Match Play helping lead the Blue Devils to the team title.  Â
Duke has been seeded No. 1 in the Columbus Regional and will open action Monday, May 10 as the Blue Devils try to advance to the NCAA Championship in Arizona. Â
