LEBANON, Pa. – Duke University rising freshman Rylie Heflin saw action this week in the Pennsylvania Junior Girls' Championship and turned in a tied for seventh finish at the Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon, Pa.
Heflin, who hails from Avondale, Pa., posted rounds of 73 and 75 for a 4-over, 148, on her way to finishing only four strokes off the lead. Over the 36 holes of stroke play, Heflin collected eight birdies.
Michelle Cox and Jade Gu finished the tournament at even-par, 144, and Cox went on to win the title on the second playoff hole.
Heflin will next compete in the U.S. Girls' Junior on July 12-17 at the Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Md.
